Seed consulting designed and delivered bespoke workshops to build the skills of existing and emerging leaders. The hands-on approaches and inclusion of workplace examples made it easy to connect the ideas to my current role and organisation. The time between workshops allowed for reflection and practice of the ideas and tools.  I have used several of the  tools provided to refine and strengthen my approach to mentoring and delegation. I have participated in several leadership programs in the past, but what truly stood out about this one was its emphasis on Team Management Profiles (TMPs). Exploring my work preferences through this framework was incredibly insightful.

I’ve had the opportunity to take part in the first two of six sessions of Maxim’s leadership development program with Seed People, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed.

The sessions led by Stace and Jules have been both engaging and practical, and it’s been a nice to see how the content has landed differently across the team. From implementing insights gained from our individual TMS profiles to learning how to give and embrace feedback, my colleagues and I have been actively completing our ‘homework’ and finding opportunities to apply what we’ve learned in our day-to-day roles, a clear sign that the program is hitting the mark and encouraging growth in our leadership skills.

Personally, the sessions have challenged some of my default thinking, preferences, and habits, and have prompted me to reflect and grow. I’m really looking forward to the next four sessions and continuing to build my leadership skills.
