Pitcher Partners is a national association of six independent accounting, audit and business advisory firms. They\u2019re driven to help businesses, families and individuals intelligently frame their goals and make the most of their potential.<\/p>\n

Seed has had the privilege of partnering with the Newcastle and Hunter office.<\/p>\n

The challenges<\/h3>\n

After three decades of operation Pitcher Partners were looking to develop their Partner group, and the Private Business & Family Advisory (PBFA) Senior Team, to take working cohesively from good to great. The P&C Manager and key Partners identified the need for workshops across the two levels of leadership to focus on aspects of high performing teams.<\/p>\n

Pitcher Partners were seeking support from an external provider to design and deliver various workshop sessions to ensure an external perspective.<\/p>\n

Starting Point<\/h3>\n

After a thorough conversation with Pitcher Partners key stakeholders, Seed recommended content, frameworks and practices to be embedded across the two levels of Leadership; Partners and PBFA Senior Team.<\/p>\n

This would allow Pitcher Partners\u2019 leaders to \u2018sing from the same song sheet\u2019 and provide consistency of leadership processes and practices across their 45 team members.<\/p>\n

The Co-designed solution<\/h3>\n

After listening to Pitcher Partners Seed designed workshops based on their challenges and opportunities.<\/p>\n

Positive Outcome<\/h3>\n

During 2024 Seed delivered two workshops for the PBFA Senior Team, and facilitated two Offsites for the Partner groups, as part a program of support and partnership with the relevant teams.<\/p>\n

Across the two sessions for each group, we achieved:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Increased awareness of understanding and building psychological safety;<\/li>\n
  • Embedding group trust;<\/li>\n
  • Foundations of respectful challenging and healthy conflict;<\/li>\n
  • Increased accountability to walking the talk; and<\/li>\n
  • Commitment to a \u2018working as one, we\u2019re all in this together\u2019 mentality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Further, specific to the Partners workshops, we facilitated a deep dive into:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Pitcher Partners Governance & Leadership models including how to approach decisions with an infinite.<\/li>\n
    • Pitcher Partners Governance & Leadership models including how to approach decisions with an infinite mindset, to enable more effective outcomes and decisions making across the group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
